Over Christmas we took part in Strathclyde police’s initiative for Body Worn Cameras. Fifteen Glasgow nightclubs trialed cameras and five of them used Reveal Media Ltd’s cameras to deter incidents outside the clubs. We also lent two of our cameras to taxi marshals. Our cameras were trialed for 2 weeks and we have been told that the results are very positive. We are waiting for the official figures, but so far we know that there were no more than 9 incidents in each club. This is a staggering difference to any previous figures of incidents, especially last year, where neither body-worn security nor head cams were used.
