M3 Web is a server based application that handles requests from any Internet Explorer web client.

All media material on M3 Web can be searched and retrieved using a very simple and intuitive interface.

Other features in M3 Web also help streamline critical jobs such as CPS and Court preparation.

The use of Web delivery technology of the media ensures minimum infrastructure impact and investment needs.

After logging onto M3 Web, the user is be able to search and view the media that they have been given rights to during the logging process.

The results are automatically ranked according to relevance. The appropriate text is highlighted to quickly see the context of the results.

All of the information pertaining to each media file can be viewed as well as the media itself.

Selecting the Advanced searching tab shows a number of features that expands or narrows the search criteria.

ALL, ANY and NONE word searches can be performed. Results can be restricted to specific categories, details or folders. The Options tab allows search results to include stemming, synonyms (which are words of similar meaning) and pattern or “fuzziness” which allows misspelled words to be included in results.

Selecting the Browse tab gives quick navigation to all assets in a particular folder, of a particular category or all assets of a particular media type.

All assets in a folder can be sequenced to create online presentations for briefings.

All users of M3 Web have a personal folder option that allows them to keep copies of specifically chosen assets in a personal area thereby creating a unique collection for that user.

Providing the user has sufficient security rights, the media can be downloaded to a local drive for case preparation etc.

The M3 A/V Cut tool allows the user to select a definable section of any audio visual material online and create a new asset without affecting the original one.
